A. Work Content
1. Notify the Line@ member number for TPE Taipei warehouse entry.
2. Provide reinforcement and waterproofing measures for free, as needed.
3. Free pickup service from anywhere in Taiwan to the warehouse until 2023/12/31.
4. Shipments are dispatched daily, with delivery expected in 4-7 days.
5. Free boxes available for packing directly at the Taipei warehouse:
*Box #8: 55 x 45 x 41 cm
*Box #7: 49 x 41 x 39 cm
*Box #6: 42 x 36 x 37 cm
*Box #5: 34 x 33 x 35 cm
*Box #4: 34 x 33 x 19 cm
*Box #3: 34 x 33 x 11 cm
Boxes are measured on-site after packing. Boxes can be picked up at the Taipei TPE warehouse with a deposit of NTD 100 per box, which can be used as a discount on international shipping fees. For home delivery, an additional fee of NTD 450 applies for any selection of 5 boxes, which cannot be deducted from international shipping fees.
B. Package Packing Rules
1. Charges are based on either actual weight or volumetric weight, whichever is higher. Volumetric weight calculation: (Length * Width * Height cm) / 5000 = volumetric weight (kg) (or Length * Width * Height inches / 150 = volumetric weight (lbs)).
2. Single box actual weight within 30kg (66 lbs), maximum dimensions LWH: 120 x 80 x 80 cm
*Maximum weight per shipment: 300kg (660 lbs)
3. Single box actual weight 30~68kg (150 lbs), maximum dimensions LWH: 120 x 80 x 80 cm
*Length should not exceed 274 cm (108 inches)
*Girth (L+W+H) less than 330 cm, Length + 2Width + 2Height should not exceed 400 cm
4. An additional fee of NTD 2500 applies for any dimension exceeding 120 cm.
5. Each pallet over 68kg (150 lbs).
*Shipments exceeding 990kg (2200 lbs) or a height of 178 cm (70 inches), length exceeding 302 cm (119 inches), or width exceeding 203 cm (80 inches) require prior approval.
6. Important notes:
*Ensure to fill in the shipping order number for multiple packages sent to different locations.
*Do not use terms such as personal items, gifts, food.
*We can help members consolidate packages (notify us in advance of the number of packages, and mark numbers after the member number: e.g., RS99999 1/2, RS99999 2/2). The largest box for consolidation is Box #8: 55 x 45 x 41 cm; larger packages will be split.
C. Prohibited Items
*Prohibited items: meat and meat products (e.g., pork floss, instant meals), egg yolk, egg products, honey products, dairy products, jelly, milk, Western medicine, perfume, nail polish, contact lenses, flammable dangerous goods, pressurized bottles, pure alcohol, pure batteries, living creatures, banknotes, bonds, seeds, tobacco and cigars, medical devices (including contact lenses).
*Note: We are only a shipping service agent. By agreeing to the shipping order, you understand and agree to comply with these terms. If prohibited items are found in your package, you must fully cooperate with customs or international courier requests for product and ingredient specifications. Any costs for returns, destruction, shipping fees, or fines are the member's responsibility.
*Costs arising from returned/forfeited/destroyed/fined items abroad are the sender's responsibility. If returned to Taiwan, shipping costs and local fees apply, plus a handling fee of NTD 600.
*If prohibited items are detected in the Taipei warehouse, the company has the right to discard the package or report it to authorities without compensation.
*Inspection fee: NTD 200, repacking labor and material fee: NTD 200, Taiwan local courier fee: NTD 80 and up.
*If the entire or part of the shipment is returned by Taiwan customs or the courier company, a handling fee of NTD 500 will be charged.
*We emphasize that smuggling cigarettes, cigars, and prohibited items in packages will incur a fine of NTD 5000 per box if detected by Taiwan customs or the import country’s customs. Drugs will be reported to the police, and you will bear legal responsibilities and our legal fees.
1. Wooden crates: Not accepted in Australia, other countries require fumigation certificates.
2. FedEx does not accept general food and health products; DHL & UPS do.
3. Special channels are required for food imports to Belgium; please consult customer service.
4. Tea leaves and tea powder must be of Taiwanese origin.
*If prohibited items are found in the package or you still want to send them, you must fully comply with customs or international courier requests for product and ingredient specifications. Any costs for returns, destruction, shipping fees, or fines are the sender's responsibility.
5. Any food (anything edible) must have a clear and qualified label on the outer packaging (with a clear ingredient list). To save space, you can fold and include the outer packaging in the package. * Items without qualified labels cannot be sent.
D. Important Notes
*Customs clearance explanation: If the declared value is unrealistic and the shipment is returned by customs (you will lose the shipping fee), declaring used or second-hand items as 1 dollar for customs inspection and return is discouraged. To improve safety and delivery rates, reduce inspections and returns, the company reserves the right to modify your shipping order content. Any applicable taxes must be borne by the customer. If the item's value is genuinely low, you can provide an invoice to customs as proof.
E. Compensation for Lost or Damaged Packages
We guarantee better compensation for loss than Chunghwa Post!
1. International courier packages from Taiwan without additional insurance for loss and damage:
*Full loss compensation: For packages without insurance, compensation will be based on the declared value in USD, up to a maximum of 100 USD, plus the refund of the national courier fee.
*Partial loss compensation: For packages without insurance, compensation will be based on the declared value in USD, proportional to the lost weight, up to a maximum of 100 USD, without refunding the shipping fee.
*Damage compensation: Compensation depends on international courier verification abroad. The decision will be based on the courier's assessment. Compensation will be handed to the sender, and the shipping fee will not be refunded.
2. International courier packages from Taiwan with additional insurance for loss and damage:
*Full loss compensation: Compensation will be based on the insured value, with no additional compensation or refund of the shipping fee.
*The insured value is equivalent to the declared import/export value (consider possible import duties).
*Insurance covers the total loss of the package, not partial loss of items. It requires an international courier investigation to determine compensation.
*If you are concerned about loss or damage, we recommend insuring your package to protect your assets.
PS1: If unfortunate loss or damage occurs and compensation is required:
1. For incidents abroad, due to time zone differences, contacting local courier companies may take longer. Each inquiry might not be promptly answered and could take over a week or more. Please be patient. The entire process might exceed a month or more. We will protect our members to the best of our ability and stay in close contact with local and international courier personnel to track the progress.
2. Usually, the case results will be notified within a month. During this period, you can leave reminders with our customer service. If you are unwilling to wait beyond a month, the compensation for a lost package is NTD 3300, ending the case (partial item loss in the package is not accepted; execution follows the international courier’s investigation results).
3. Liability for a single air cargo shipment (including associated road transport or en route stop) is limited by the Montreal Convention or Warsaw Convention (whichever is applicable). Without such conventions, the lower of (i) the current market value or declared value or (ii) 22 Special Drawing Rights (SDR) per kilogram (approximately 30 USD per kg) will apply.
PS2: If items are too sensitive, for safety and delivery, we may assist in modifying the item name. However, if the package is still returned or destroyed, the company is not responsible for any liability or compensation.
