HotKBS (Sea) Warehouse Packing Rules

1. Packaging, consolidation, and separating
*All "logistics points" will be represented by symbols (symbols as shown in the illustration ).
*Each shipping order's first weight is 5kg, and the accumulated weight is measured per 1kg
*Maximum weight of single package to be consolidated: 30kg
*Consolidation total weight limit: 100kg
*Free consolidation limit: 2
*Consolidation limit per shipment: 20
*Excess consolidation fee (per box): 20.00
*Free separating limit: 1000
*Packages over 120cm long: 1500
*Packages with the sum of dimensions exceeding 175cm: 1400
*Over 50kg: 1400
*Consolidating packages does not necessarily involve unpacking and repacking (to avoid disputes and will not save on dimensional weight charges).
 
2. Free storage period: within 25 days after storage. Storage fee: NTD 10 per kilogram per day per box. Less than 1 kilogram is counted as 1 kilogram. After 45 days, parcels are considered abandoned. No responsibility for storage.
 
3. Package restrictions: Excludes tariffs, self-paid.
Once the shipping order is created, even if payment has not been made, the warehouse staff can decide to dispatch the package to its destination. If you do not want the package to be dispatched, do not create the shipping order. If you need to return the package, you will be responsible for all associated costs.
 
Special Service:
Local supermarket deliveries to the warehouse incur an additional packing fee of NT$120 per transaction.
*No inspection, subject to warehouse receipt.
 
3A. Packages with Restrictions Excluded from Tax-Inclusive Route
a. The sum of the dimensions of the three sides exceeds 175cm, or the weight exceeds 50kg. There will be an additional 1400 extra charges for overseas oversized items. There may also be local truck delivery fees in Taiwan.
b. One side cannot exceed 120cm or any two sides cannot exceed 90cm at the same time.
c. Explanation of tariff-included and tariff-exclusive:
Tariffs included: Including customs duties for frequent buyers (excluding customs tax adjustments, transfer declarations, inspection and quarantine... need to be paid by yourself) Tariffs not included: If any duties are paid by yourself, it applies to 2000NTD imports per person for 6 times every six months. Users who pay less than 1NTD are exempt from paying customs duties

3B. Formal customs declaration will have additional costs
a. Two sides of the outer box exceed 90cm
b. One side exceeds 180cm, and the sum of the three sides exceeds 280cm
c. The weight of a single box is greater than 60kg
d. Customs declaration fee
1200 + 5% business tax = 1260. If there are any inspection fees and duties, you must pay them yourself.
e. If a larger truck is required, additional charges will apply
f. When members need to provide formal customs declaration services, please confirm that formal customs declaration (in value-added services) is checked when filling in the shipping order. If it is not checked, the warehouse will not handle it separately according to the formal declaration process, and formal customs declaration will not be processed when you return to Taiwan (or there will be additional costs to be paid out of pocket). 
g. After placing the waybill for the package that requires formal declaration, please immediately provide the official declaration information, letter of authorization, and a copy of your ID card to customer service.

Please Note: insurance, returns, inspection, loss and damage
1. Additional cargo insurance, returns, inspection, and convenience store pickup are not accepted.
2. In order to speed up the timeliness of your package returning to Taiwan, after the order is established, even if the fee is not paid in advance, we may help you arrange the shipment back to Taiwan. You cannot refuse to pay for this reason. If you do not want to send the package out of the warehouse, please do not create an order; if you need to return the package, you must bear all costs.
3. Use international shipping package insurance and loss compensation rules:
There are many uncontrollable factors when items are transported by sea for a long time at sea. Please pay attention to and be willing to accept the things that may happen before you send the goods:
a. Cross-border shipping does not accept loss and damage insurance. It is safest to find a local insurance company to purchase insurance.
b. When the entire package is lost, the cause and actual situation are beyond control, and international lawsuits cannot be handled; 1kg compensation is NT$52, the minimum compensation is NT800 from China Post, and the maximum is NT3,000; or the compensation amount is based on foreign compensation. In addition, the amount of compensation is to be compensated by the logistics company to the recipient. Our overseas agent service providers do not charge service fees and are not allowed to require our company and foreign service providers to compensate them.
c. It is very difficult to prove if the interior part of the package is lost or damaged. The best way is to pack it firmly by yourself and take photos to confirm. Then ask the local recipient to coordinate with the local logistics company to provide detailed packaging methods, but any items that are easily crushed, fragile, leaky, or have incomplete packaging and reinforcement inside the box must be packed with multiple layers of protective bubble wrap and hard boxes, otherwise there will be no compensation. In addition, the amount of compensation is to be determined by the logistics company to the recipient. Our overseas agent service providers do not charge service fees and are not allowed to require our company and foreign service providers to compensate them.
d. When items are damaged during overseas transportation, the reasons and actual circumstances are beyond our control, and international lawsuits cannot be handled. Please ask the local recipient to coordinate directly with the local logistics service company. We will not participate and cannot provide services. The sender and recipient cannot request compensation from our company or foreign service providers.
PS. Establishment of the order indicates acceptance of the above terms.

e. Arrival (Taipei TPE Warehouse) If a local home delivery package in Taiwan is found to be damaged when you receive it, please record the unboxing and keep the original box. Please go directly to the shipping company to apply for a claim, and notify the customer service of the home delivery company as soon as possible within 3 days.
We also remind members that we will no longer be an intermediary agent to help you apply for claims. Members should handle it themselves and the refund will be paid directly to you. Subject to the determination of the shipping company, we will no longer collect the compensation amount and transfer it to you.​
5.The manufacturer's packaging is not strong when combining the boxes. There may be a fee for changing to a larger box and the weight will increase and the freight will also increase. During shipping, there may be a chance of damage due to the crushing of each other's weight on the pallet of the container, which we cannot predict and do not accept compensation. Please also ask the manufacturer or do the reinforced packaging yourself.
6. The recipient is an item from an outer island of Taiwan. It needs to be asked for approval at the overseas container warehouse before receiving the goods. Local freight in Taiwan is additional.
*Establishment of the order indicates acceptance of the above terms. The member agrees to the above instructions and will not require our freight service provider to make additional compensation.
