Formal Declaration Fee Note

The fee for formal declaration (where applicable) is $600 + 5% sales tax = $630 TWD.

Important: EZ WAY Customs Processing Fee

PS 1: Effective March 1, 2026, Taiwan Customs has implemented a fee of NT$3.50 per declared waybill for personal parcels via the EZ WAY real-time authentication system.

Starting March 9, 2026, our company will collect a processing fee of NT$3.00 per shipment on behalf of customs.

Volume Weight (Volumetric) Policy

1. No Volume Fee: If the sum of the package dimensions (Length + Width + Height) is within 150cm, the shipping cost will be calculated by actual weight only.

2. Value-Added Services (Original Box Shipping): For "Original Box" (single or multiple boxes) shipping services, charges will be based on whichever is higher: Actual Weight vs. Volume Weight. The volume weight discount does not apply to this service.

3. The "4x Rule" for Volume Weight: * If the Volume Weight is less than four times the Actual Weight, no volume fee is charged.

*If it exceeds four times the Actual Weight, a volume fee will be applied to the excess portion.

Volume Weight (kg) = Length(cm) x Width(cm) x Height(cm)/6000

Special Notice: Cross-Border Parcels from Europe to the UK Warehouse

a. Handling Fee: For parcels shipped from outside the UK (cross-border) to our UK warehouse, a handling fee of NT$200 per parcel will be charged.

b. Taxes & Duties: Local customs duties and any additional import fees must be paid by the member.

c. Security Deposit: A deposit equal to 30% of the total cargo value must be top-up in advance as a 3-month guarantee. Any penalties resulting from late payments will be the responsibility of the member.

d. Deposit Waiver: The security deposit may be waived if you provide:

*Proof of paid UK customs duties.

*Confirmation from the seller’s customer service (via email) that the recipient is not liable for duties.

*Required Documents: Please request an Affidavit (Letter of Undertaking) from Red Sea Customer Service and provide a copy of your ID (front and back), guaranteeing you will cover any future tax-related costs. e. Refund Policy: After the 3-month period expires, refund applications will be processed within 3 business days. Remaining funds can be credited to your member account or refunded to your bank account (a NT$30 bank transfer fee applies).

Note: If the logistics provider claims taxes are unpaid after you have already settled them, please resolve this with them directly. Our warehouse will prioritize paying any incoming tax bills from your deposit to ensure our warehouse address remains in good standing.

f. Policy Rationale: In the UK, it is common for tax bills and processing fees to arrive several months after a parcel has been delivered. We appreciate your understanding regarding these preventative measures.
