Restricted Items & Customs Declaration Instructions
Reminder: We do not accept items with flammable, explosive, hazardous, or warning labels on the outer packaging, and we do not accept spray pressure cans.

2. Does not accept: Taisho cold medicine / high-pressure cans / pure batteries / mosquito repellent products, portable power sources, perfumes (containing alcohol), nail polish, high-pressure sprays, products containing meat/minced meat, oil products, seasonings, medicines, eye drops, must not contain meat oil, cigars/tobacco, contact lenses (including medical supplies), any animal or plant (insect) products & processed foods, compressors, flammable and explosive dangerous goods or warning signs. *Pure batteries: Including power banks, batteries, larger batteries are not allowed for shipment. Only small lithium batteries contained within the device are permitted.
3. Acceptable items: Kitchen knives, cleaning and care products, spray cans, ointments (alcohol-free), packaging must not have flammable symbols, products containing batteries, 3C products, and masks within 250 pieces.
4. For the same medication, up to 3 bottles are allowed, with a maximum of 6 cans (boxes, bottles) of mixed medications. Different household items can also be mixed, and packages will not be divided into boxes upon entry but can be combined into one box.
5. For any inquiries regarding the personal import of medications, please consult the Food and Drug Administration of the Ministry of Health and Welfare to avoid any issues during customs inspection.
6. For any medication-related matters, our company and our Japanese forwarding partners are responsible for the consolidation and forwarding operations. Even if you inquire with customer service, it cannot serve as a certificate, only as personal advice (and you should directly consult professional government agencies).
*Both the sender and recipient are required to handle customs requests independently and may not request or blame the company.
7. We do not provide inspection or payment advance services.
8. Packages crossing borders to Japan are not accepted in our warehouse due to the need for long waits for tax documents, which can take a month or more.
9. The contents of the entrusted packages must comply with import regulations, and prohibited items are not allowed. If any items violating import regulations are found, the sender shall bear legal responsibility, and this consignment note will not be eligible for the above-mentioned benefits. The Red Sea website reserves the right to change and interpret the service content.
PS: The establishment of the order implies agreement to abide by the above instructions.
Special Notice:
If customs inspection finds goods subject to review control regulations or requiring the imposition of duties, including anti-dumping duties, but they have not been declared through formal customs declaration, a penalty of NT$6,000 for customs violation (excluding fines from competent authorities) plus an additional handling fee of NT$300 will be imposed.
The following are common regulatory authorities and goods subject to review control regulations:
Bureau of Standards, Metrology & Inspection (BSMI) - Household appliances (refrigerators, TVs, rice cookers, etc.), toys (for use by children under 14), textile products (underwear, towels, bedding, etc.), automobile tires/steel rims, lighting fixtures (indoor lights), paints, luggage, massage devices, batteries, etc.
National Communications Commission (NCC) - Goods with Bluetooth/Wi-Fi functionality and goods equipped with wireless remote controllers, etc.
Bureau of Foreign Trade (BOFT) - Hardware accessories (screws, aluminum & steel products), tiles, solar panels, bedding, electronic locks, radar, grinding wheels, electric cars, drills, water heaters, socks, masks, etc.
Bureau of Animal and Plant Health Inspection and Quarantine (BAPHIQ) - Animals (including food), plants (including fertilizers), cat litter, sawdust, feathers, etc.
Food and Drug Administration (FDA) - Disinfectants, pharmaceuticals, food items, tableware, etc.
Ministry of Health and Welfare (MOHW) - Medical equipment (beauty devices, moxibustion devices, wheelchairs), medicated cosmetics (anti-acne, anti-wrinkle, etc.), hair dyes, reading glasses, medical masks, etc.
Counterfeit goods, imitation bags, branded products with infringement issues should not be attempted. Electronic cigarettes and associated accessories (heating devices, cartridges) cannot be shipped, and violators face fines ranging from NT$10 million to NT$50 million. They are also required to improve, recall, destroy, or return the items within a specified period. Failure to comply within the specified period will result in further penalties. The above-mentioned items are currently the focus of customs inspections.
