Commodity Restrictions & Customs Declaration Instructions
Reminder: We do not accept items with flammable, explosive, hazardous, or warning labels on the outer packaging, and we do not accept spray cans.
1. Food items/snacks cannot exceed 6kg per package. Importation of food items requires attention to detail. Refer to: https://taipei.customs.gov.tw/singlehtml/3130?cntId=cus2_177199_3130
2. No items of animal/plant (including insects) origin & processed food products are accepted.
3. Alcoholic beverages and tobacco products are routed through the ETY route and require formal import declaration. Refer to the official website for [Customs Declaration FAQs - Section H. Taiwan Import Declaration].
4. Perfumes, essential oils, and alcohol-containing products CANNOT be shipped.
5. Commissioned shipment contents must comply with relevant import regulations and must not contain prohibited items. If prohibited items are detected that do not comply with import regulations, the legal responsibility lies with the shipper, and this commission order will not be eligible for the above-mentioned benefits. Red Sea's official website reserves the right to change service content and the final interpretation.
PS: The establishment of the order indicates agreement to and compliance with the above instructions.
Special Notice: Alcoholic products must be processed through the ETY route. Failure to accurately declare and notify customer service will result in confiscation by customs and fines without the ability to provide proof.
Failure to declare items found by airport security personnel or customs:
a. Perfumes and alcohol-containing volatile products are considered dangerous goods and must be accurately declared in advance for air transportation.
b. "Confiscated" or "Returned" items at airport security cannot request any document or data.
c. Failure to apply for inspection, any situation during transportation will not be compensated or serviced.
d. "Returned packages" with missing or damaged items during the process cannot claim compensation or provide proof. The warehouse will inspect the internal items for perfumes and alcohol-containing volatile products upon receipt.
e. Overall fees:
*From the UK Manchester EMA warehouse to the airport cargo station, the freight is 3000 NTD per pallet, and if returned to the EMA warehouse, an additional 3000 NTD will be charged (calculated per pallet).
*Airport handling fee: 2000 NTD for internal transportation and 3600 NTD for aviation security processing.
*The cost of returning from the airport to the warehouse is 55 GBP (approximately 2090 NTD) per box.
*Administrative fines and warehouse rent are calculated on a daily basis and are borne by the customer service.
*The above fees are the full responsibility and legal liability incurred by the member for inaccurately declaring perfumes and alcohol-containing volatile products and failing to notify customer service after the order is generated, and the UK cannot request relevant invoices and receipts.
*The cost of reshipping from the EMA warehouse to the airport is calculated by weight.
Special Announcement:
If customs inspect goods subject to regulatory control or require the imposition of tariffs or anti-dumping duties, but they have not been declared with a formal declaration, there will be a customs violation fine of 6,000 NTD (excluding fines from the competent authority), plus a handling fee of 300 NTD.
Below are the common regulatory authorities and goods subject to regulatory control:
*Bureau of Standards, Metrology and Inspection: Electrical appliances (refrigerators, TVs, rice cookers, etc.), toys (for children under 14), textile products (underwear, towels, bedding, etc.), automotive tires/rims, lighting fixtures (indoor lights), paints, luggage, massagers, batteries, etc.
*National Communications Commission (NCC): Goods with Bluetooth/Wi-Fi functions, and goods with wireless remote controls, etc.
*Bureau of Foreign Trade: Hardware accessories (screws, aluminum & steel products), tiles, solar panels, bedding, electronic locks, radars, grinding wheels, electric cars, drills, water heaters, socks, masks, etc.
*Bureau of Animal and Plant Health Inspection and Quarantine: Animals (including food), plants (including fertilizers), cat litter, sawdust, feathers, etc.
*Food and Drug Administration: Disinfectants, pharmaceuticals, food items, tableware, etc.
*Ministry of Health and Welfare: Medical equipment (beauty devices, moxibustion devices, wheelchairs), medicated cosmetics (acne treatment, wrinkle removal, etc.), hair dye, reading glasses, medical masks, etc.
*Counterfeit products, imitation bags, brand names with infringement issues, please do not attempt. Electronic cigarettes and accessories (heating devices, cartridges) cannot be shipped regardless of nicotine content. Fines range from 10 million to 50 million TWD for importers. They must be improved, recalled, destroyed, or returned within a certain period, and failure to improve within the specified period will result in penalties.
